This restaurant is AMAZING! Ruben is an excellent server. The menu has tons of options, and everything looks so good. My meal was probably the best Mexican food I’ve ever had...and I’ve been to Mexico! My husband and I split the fajita nachos and the wet burrito. It was beyond delicious. I will make the long drive to come back. The atmosphere is beautiful! I highly recommend this restaurant.

This seems to be characteristic of Indy - some of the most memorable places I’ve eaten are tucked away in the middle of nowhere. This place had some of the most well flavored home made salsa. Their chips are served warm. The food is brought out (at least the fajitas) on a skillet cooking. The food just hit the spot for me. Very much recommend them especially after a day of intense physical work.
First time here. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The employees were very friendly and responsive. The food was excellent and tasted very good. I wish the salsa was hotter and I wish they had Tres leches for desert but the flan was very good anyway. I'm sure that these people in Indiana can't handle good, spicy salsa and that's why it's mild. Thank you!
If you live in Edinburgh you probably already know about this place. I was visiting and it blew me away with how good it was. I'm thinking of reasons right now on why to come back to Indiana because it was so good.
We made a stop for dinner at El Potro after shopping at Edinburgh premium outlet - Indian. The ambience and food are superb - the Tilapia El Porto and Camerones A La Diablo were supreme flavors and generous quantities. We love a good spice with our Indian descent and El Potro did not disappoint. The Mexican flavors were authentic and the portions were size-able. The sea food dishes were the best in terms of flavors and protein quantity. Overall a great place to visit though it has a heavy local vibe.
My burrito was such a conversation piece when I brought it back to my group. I ordered the largest burrito they had, if you can eat it in a half hour it was free. But I knew that wasn't happening. I brought it back and shared it umongst 5 friends. The meat was tender, the beans flavorful, and the sauce was great. For a burrito the size of a small child, it was worth it.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. Excellent service, delicious food, pleasant atmosphere. I greatly enjoyed my dinner there. Those Mango margaritas are a hit! Highly recommend this place!
